Ingredients

Active ingredient: Finasteride

Other ingredients: lactose monohydrate, microcrystalline cellulose, pregelatinized starch, sodium starch glycolate, docusate sodium, magnesium stearate, hypromellose, hydroxypropyl cellulose, titanium dioxide, talc, iron oxide yellow.

Dosage

Recommended dosage: The usual dose is one tablet (5 mg) daily, with or without food.

Indications

Prostan tablets are indicated for the treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) to improve symptoms, reduce the risk of acute urinary retention, and decrease the need for surgery.
