Remesulid (nimesulide) tablets 100 mg. №30

Composition

active substance: nimesulide;

1 tablet contains nimesulide in 100% substance 100 mg;

excipients: lactose monohydrate, potato starch, hypromellose, colloidal anhydrous silicon dioxide, crospovidone, magnesium stearate.

Tablets.

The main physical and chemical properties: tablets of yellowish or yellowish-green color with a biconvex surface. Marbling is allowed on the surface of the tablets.

Pharmacological properties

Nimesulide is an active substance that has anti-inflammatory, analgesic and antipyretic properties. Nimesulide selectively inhibits COX II (cyclooxygenase II) and suppresses the synthesis of prostaglandins in the focus of inflammation.

Nimesulide inhibits the release of the enzyme myeloperoxidase, and also inhibits the formation of free oxygen radicals, without affecting the processes of phagocytosis and chemotaxis, inhibits the formation of tumor necrosis factor and other inflammatory mediators.

Indications

Remesulid is used to relieve acute pain. A drug is used for the symptomatic treatment of osteoarthritis with pain. Also Remesulid is indicated for women with primary dysmenorrhea.

Contraindications

It is forbidden to apply Remesulid to patients with hypersensitivity to it or to other NSAIDs, with exacerbation of duodenal / gastric ulcer, severe bleeding disorders, bleeding from the digestive tract, severe heart failure, gastrointestinal bleeding in the past, severe renal failure, liver failure.
Also, you should not use Remesulid if you suspect an acute surgical pathology.
Cannot be used concurrently with other drugs that can potentially cause hepatotoxic reactions.

Application during pregnancy and lactation

Remesulid is contraindicated during these periods.

Method of administration and dosage

Remesulid should be taken orally (by mouth) after meals, with a sufficient amount of liquid. Taking the pharmaceutical preparation is indicated one tablet twice a day (morning / evening).
The maximum duration of application of Remesulid is fifteen days.

Overdose

In case of an overdose of Remesulid, symptoms such as drowsiness, nausea, apathy, lethargy, vomiting, arterial hypertension, and abdominal pain occur. It is also possible to develop acute renal failure, bleeding from the digestive tract, respiratory depression and coma.
There is no specific antidote. In case of an overdose in the first four hours, gastric lavage and the use of enterosorbents are indicated. The following shows the maintenance and symptomatic therapy. It also requires careful monitoring of liver and kidney function.

Side effects

Side effects that may occur with the use of the pharmaceutical drug Remesulid include abdominal pain, dizziness, nervousness, blurred vision, shortness of breath, asthma attacks, anemia, various hypersensitivity reactions, arterial hypertension, nausea, tachycardia, malaise, headaches, vomiting, asthenia , hyperkalemia, drowsiness, nightmares, diarrhea, thrombocytopenia (decrease in the number of platelets), constipation, pancytopenia (decrease in the number of all blood cells), fear, purpura, renal failure, flatulence (bloating), itching, edema, hypothermia (decrease in temperature ), hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating), skin rashes, hot flashes, bronchospasm, jaundice, dyspepsia, erythema, interstitial nephritis, gastritis, dermatitis, stomatitis, angioedema, bleeding from the digestive tract, urticaria, oliguria, ulcer / gastric perforation hematuria (appearance of blood in the urine), erythema polyform, facial edema, hepatitis, dysuria, cholesta h, urinary retention (urinary retention), Stevens-Johnson syndrome.
If any undesirable reactions occur, the patient should stop taking this medication and contact his doctor.
