Clinical trials have shown that risperidone is effective in managing both positive and negative symptoms of schizophrenia, such as hallucinations, delusions, and social withdrawal. Additionally, risperidone has been found to be beneficial in the treatment of acute manic or mixed episodes associated with bipolar disorder.
