Scientific Evidence:
Sorbifer Durules tablets with modified release have been studied in clinical trials for their efficacy in treating iron deficiency anemia. The controlled-release formulation ensures a gradual and sustained release of iron and ascorbic acid, optimizing absorption and reducing gastrointestinal side effects. Research published in the Journal of Hematology & Oncology demonstrated the superior bioavailability and tolerability of Sorbifer Durules compared to traditional iron supplements.
Iron sulfate replenishes iron stores in the body, correcting anemia, while ascorbic acid enhances iron absorption. The modified-release technology in Sorbifer Durules ensures a steady supply of iron, minimizing the risk of overdose and improving patient compliance.
