Tenoten (antibodies to brain-specific protein) tablets №40
Composition
active substance: 1 tablet contains antibodies to brain-specific protein S-100 affinity purified: a mixture of homeopathic dilutions C12, C0 and C200 – 3 mg;
Excipients: lactose monohydrate, microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate.
Dosage form
Tablets.
Main physical and chemical properties: flat-cylindrical tablets, dashed and chamfered, from white to almost white. There is a dash on one flat side and the inscription TENOTEN on the other flat side.

Pharmacological properties
The drug has a calming, anti-anxiety (anxiolytic) effect, without causing unwanted hypnogenic and muscle relaxant effects. Improves the tolerance of psycho-emotional loads. Has stress-protective, nootropic, anti-amnestic, antihypoxic, neuroprotective, antiasthenic, antidepressant action.
Indications
Tenoten is used in the treatment of neurotic and neurosis-like conditions, as well as psychosomatic diseases. Also, the use of the drug is indicated in the treatment of stress disorders, accompanied by increased nervous tension, irritability, anxiety and autonomic disorders.
In addition, it is prescribed as part of the complex treatment of moderately pronounced organic damage to the central nervous system, discirculatory or traumatic etiology, which are accompanied by emotional lability, memory impairment and autonomic disorders.
Contraindications
Tenoten is not used in the therapy of patients who are hypersensitive to the drug. It is recommended to refuse its appointment if the patient has a history of lactose deficiency, glucose-galactose malabsorption syndrome and galactosemia. Also, the drug should not be used in the therapy of persons under 18 years of age, during pregnancy and lactation.
Application during pregnancy and lactation
The appointment of Tenoten to women at the stage of pregnancy and breastfeeding is considered highly undesirable.
During lactation, the appointment of Tenoten is possible only if the woman agrees to refuse breastfeeding.
Method of administration and dosage
Tenoten tablets are intended for sublingual administration. The drug should be taken regardless of meals. It is recommended to place the tablets under the tongue and keep them in the mouth until they are completely absorbed. It is not recommended to grind or chew before taking the pill. The duration of therapy and the dose of the drug is determined by the doctor.
If there were no recommendations, then Tenoten is taken 1 or 2 tablets 4 times a day. On average, the duration of treatment can vary from 1 to 3 months. If necessary, on the recommendation of a doctor, the duration of treatment can be increased.
In the evening, Tenoten is taken no later than two hours before going to bed. In the event that taking the drug for 30 days did not have a positive effect on the dynamics of the disease, it is recommended to contact your doctor again to adjust the treatment regimen and dose.
Overdose
At the moment there is no official data on cases of acute or chronic overdose of Tenoten.
Side effects
In some patients suffering from hypersensitivity to Tenoten’s components, the development of various allergic reactions was noted, manifested by skin rashes, itching and urticaria. When taking the drug before bedtime, insomnia may occur, which is due to the stimulating effect of Tenoten on the central nervous system. Sleep disturbance when taking Tenoten does not require specific treatment and quickly resolves after discontinuation of the drug or adjustment of the pill regimen.
