Composition

active substances:
2.2 ml of solution contain: Achillea millefolium D3 – 2.2 mg, Aconitum napellus D2 – 1.32 mg, Arnica montana D2 – 2.2 mg, Atropa bella-donna D2 – 2.2 mg, Bellis perennis D2 – 1 , 1 mg, Calendula officinalis D2 – 2.2 mg, Echinacea D2 – 0.55 mg, Echinacea purpurea D2 – 0.55 mg, Hamamelis virginiana D1 – 0.22 mg, Hepar sulfuris D6 – 2.2 mg, Hypericum perforatum D2 – 0.66 mg, Matricaria recutita D3 – 2.2 mg, Mercurius solubilis Hahnemanni D6 – 1.1 mg, Symphytum officinale D6 – 2.2 mg;
Excipients: sodium chloride, water for injections.

Pharmacological properties

The drug Traumeel S solution has anti-inflammatory, analgesic, anti-exudative, immunocorrective and reparative effects. The action of the drug is based on the activation of the body’s defenses and the normalization of impaired functions due to substances of plant and mineral origin, which are part of the drug.

Indication

In complex therapy for the following diseases and conditions: tissue damage from injuries (sports, household) in the form of bruises, sprains, dislocations, hematomas, fractures of bones and joints; concussion. Acute and chronic inflammatory diseases of the musculoskeletal system (tendovaginitis, scapular periarthritis, bursitis, arthritis of the hip, knee and joints of the feet and hands); dental apparatus (periodontitis, periodontitis, gingivitis); osteochondrosis.

Contraindication

Hypersensitivity to the active ingredients or excipients, to arnica, chamomile, yarrow or other plants of the aster family (compositae).
Tuberculosis, leukemia, inflammatory connective tissue diseases (collagen diseases), autoimmune diseases, multiple sclerosis, diseases of the blood system, AIDS, HIV, immunosuppression or immunodeficiency of various etiologies and other chronic viral diseases.

Use during pregnancy or breastfeeding

Toxicity of homeopathically diluted substances that are part of the drug when used during pregnancy and breastfeeding has not been established.
No adverse reactions were detected.
The question of the appropriateness of the drug for pregnant and lactating women is decided by the doctor individually, taking into account the benefits / risks.

Method of application and dosage

Single dose: adults and children from 12 years – 2.2 ml, children under 1 year – 0.4 ml, from 1 to 3 years – 0.6 ml, from 3 to 6 years – 1 ml, from 6 to 12 years – 1.5 ml. Apply a single dose 1-3 times a week.
Use a single dose in the form of intramuscular, subcutaneous, intradermal, and if necessary – intravenous (jet), intra-, periarticular injections, as well as injections into acupuncture points.
The course of treatment is 2−4 weeks.

Children

The drug is recommended for use in children from birth.

Overdose

It was not noted. Possible aggravation of adverse reactions.

Side effects

Traumeel S solution is usually well tolerated, but in very rare cases in persons with hypersensitivity to plants of the family Compositae (eg, Arnica, Chamomilla, Achillea millefolium) may experience hypersensitivity reactions (to anaphylactic reaction). Injection site reactions, including redness, swelling and pain, may occur temporarily. In isolated cases, hypersalivation may occur; Allergic reactions, including redness, swelling, rash, itching, urticaria – in which case the drug should be discontinued.
After the use of drugs containing extracts of Echinacea, reactions from the digestive tract were observed (including nausea, abdominal pain); menstrual disorders; acne, skin rash, itching, hives; excitement, sleep disturbances; in isolated cases – swelling of the face, difficulty breathing (shortness of breath), dizziness and low blood pressure.
