Pharmacological properties
The drug Traumeel S ointment has an anti-inflammatory, analgesic, anti-exudative, immunocorrective, reparative effect, which is based on the activation of the body’s defenses and the normalization of impaired functions due to substances of plant and mineral origin that are part of the drug.

Sports and household injuries (sprain, dislocation, hematoma, hemarthrosis, fracture), birth trauma.
Inflammatory, microtraumatic and degenerative processes of the musculoskeletal system (tendovaginitis, periarthritis of the shoulder scapula, bursitis, arthritis of the hip, knee and foot and hand joints).
Inflammatory processes of the skin.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to one of the active ingredients or excipients, to arnica, chamomile, yarrow or to other plants of the Asteraceae family (Compositae).
Application features
Do not apply the Traumeel S ointment to large areas of the skin.
After applying the ointment, wash your hands to avoid contact with eyes, mucous membranes, open wounds or damaged skin.
If symptoms persist or the condition worsens, you should consult your doctor.
Application during pregnancy or lactation
Due to the lack of sufficient documented experience, the drug can be used during pregnancy and lactation only after consulting a doctor.
Method of administration and dosage
For adults and children from birth, the ointment is applied with a thin layer to the site of injury or inflammation 2-3 times a day. For acute injuries – up to 5-6 times a day. The ointment can be rubbed in with light movements or applied under a bandage. Can be administered with phonophoresis.
The course of treatment is 2-4 weeks.
Children
The drug is approved for use in children from birth as prescribed by a doctor.

Not noted.
Side effects
In very rare cases, hypersensitivity reactions or local allergic reactions (skin rash, hives, skin inflammation, redness, swelling and itching) may occur, in which case the drug should be discontinued.
Cetylstearyl alcohol can cause local skin reactions (contact dermatitis).
