Ingredients

• Active ingredient: Metronidazole 500 mg
• Other ingredients: cellulose, lactose, maize starch, and magnesium stearate

Dosage

Adults: The usual dose is 1500 mg daily, divided into three doses, for 5-10 days.

Children: Dosage is based on weight and severity of the infection.

Indications

Tricasaid (Metronidazole) capsules are used to treat various bacterial and parasitic infections, including protozoal and anaerobic bacterial infections.

Contraindications

• Do not use if allergic to metronidazole or any ingredients, have a history of blood disorders, or are in the first trimester of pregnancy.

Directions

Take Tricasaid (Metronidazole) capsules as prescribed. Swallow whole with a full glass of water; do not crush or chew.
