Composition

1 capsule contains:

dry extract of Centaurium erythreae – 25 mg, dry extract of lovage (Levisticum officinale) – 25 mg, dry extract of rosemary (Rosmarinus officinalis) – 25 mg;

Excipients: filler – microcrystalline cellulose, antifouling – magnesium stearate.

Description

Urocist is combined herbal preparation. The mechanism of action is due to its composition: medicinal plants that are part of the drug, mutually enhance the therapeutic effect of each other. Has anti-inflammatory, antispasmodic, diuretic, litholytic, antiseptic effect on the genitourinary system.

The drug Urocist stabilizes the nitrogen excretory function of the kidneys. Due to the combined effect on the system of reverse absorption (reabsorption) by the cells of the renal tubules of protein, sodium salts and water, the drug reduces the excretion of proteins in the urine. However, due to the increased acidity of urine, prevents the formation of new and increase in existing stones in the urinary tract. Enhances the excretion of uric acid salts (urate), prevents the formation of urate stones in the kidneys and urinary tract. The anti-inflammatory effect is associated with the suppression of mediators that cause inflammation.

Herbal remedies that are part of the drug are formed from substances that enhance the antibiotic effect of other drugs and have their own antibacterial properties.

Recommendations for use Urocist:

• infectious and inflammatory diseases of the kidneys (urethritis, cystitis, pyelonephritis);
• prevention and treatment of urolithiasis;
• to prevent complications after lithotripsy.

Method of application and dosage

Children from 6 to 12 years 1 capsule once a day, from 12 years and adults 1 capsule 2 times a day. The course of treatment depends on the severity and nature of the disease, on average 1-3 months.

Side effects

In rare cases, allergic reactions, gastrointestinal disorders.

Contraindication

Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug, children under 6 years, pregnancy and lactation.
