Scientific Evidence
Naproxen sodium, the active ingredient in Nalgezin, is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that works by inhibiting the production of prostaglandins, which are chemicals in the body that cause pain and inflammation. Several studies have demonstrated the efficacy of naproxen sodium in relieving pain and reducing inflammation in conditions such as arthritis, menstrual cramps, and acute injuries.
Additional Information
Nalgezin coated tablets have a special formulation that helps protect the stomach lining from irritation, making them suitable for long-term use in chronic pain conditions. It is important to follow the recommended dosage and not exceed the maximum daily dose to avoid adverse effects.
Clinical trials have shown that Nalgezin is comparable in effectiveness to other NSAIDs such as ibuprofen and diclofenac but may have a lower risk of gastrointestinal side effects, making it a preferred choice for patients with a history of stomach ulcers or gastritis.
