Description
Nurofen Express Forte composition and form of release
Manufactured in capsules. Each capsule contains 400 mg of ibuprofen. It is sold in cardboard boxes, in which one blister is enclosed, in which 10 capsules are placed.
Pharmacological properties
Ibuprofen is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug derived from propionic acid. The substance demonstrates pronounced antipyretic, analgesic and anti-inflammatory effects. It inhibits the production of prostaglandins, which are mediators of pain and inflammation, which helps to quickly relieve pain, fever and inflammation.

Contraindications
Nurofen Express Forte is not indicated for hypersensitivity to ibuprofen, acetylsalicylic acid, and other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, which is associated with the development of allergic rhinitis, bronchial asthma, angioedema and urticaria.
The use of the drug is impossible if the patient has ulcerative lesions of the intestines and stomach in the acute period, bleeding from the upper parts of the digestive system, acute renal, hepatic and heart failure.
Children
It is used in pediatrics for children over 12 years old.
Application during pregnancy and lactation
Preparations containing ibuprofen are not recommended for use in nursing and pregnant women.
Method of administration and dosage
Nurofen Express Forte is intended for use in the treatment of children over 12 years old and adults weighing more than 40 kg. Taking the drug for medicinal purposes is possible only in short courses.
A single dose of the drug is 400 mg of ibuprofen, the daily dose is 120 mg. The drug is not recommended to be taken more than three times per knock, since an increase in dosage does not entail an increase in the pharmacological effect, but it also increases the risk of side effects. The minimum interval between taking capsules is 4 hours. The drug must be taken 1 capsule 3 times a day.
When the drug is prescribed to elderly patients, as well as to patients who suffer from minor violations in the liver or kidneys, the dosage is not adjusted.
To reduce the likelihood of developing side symptoms, tablets should be taken with food.

Overdose
When taking Nurofen Express Forte in doses exceeding those recommended, patients may experience nausea, vomiting and pain in the upper third of the abdomen. In severe forms of intoxication, damage to the central nervous system is possible, manifested by increased drowsiness, agitation, disorientation, coma, convulsions.
To normalize the condition, the patient needs to stop using the drug, rinse the stomach and prescribe the correct treatment. In case of severe overdose, the patient is prescribed forced diuresis, constant monitoring of the heart and bronchopulmonary system.
Side effects
When taking the drug in patients with hypersensitivity to ibuprofen, they may develop allergic reactions, bleeding from the upper gastrointestinal tract, ulcerative or erosive lesions of the digestive system, visual impairment, drowsiness, inflammation of the optic nerve, dyspeptic disorders, bronchospasm, headache, angioedema edema.
Storage conditions and periods
Nurofen Express Forte should be stored in dry and dark places, out of the reach of children. Duration of storage of capsules is 2 years.
