Additional Information
Sinupret syrup is a herbal medicine that combines the anti-inflammatory and mucolytic properties of gentian root, primula flower, elder flower, sorrel herb, and verbena herb. These ingredients work synergistically to reduce nasal congestion and promote sinus drainage, providing relief from sinusitis symptoms.
Pharmacological Effects: Sinupret acts by reducing inflammation in the nasal passages, promoting mucus clearance, and supporting the body’s immune response to infections. The combination of herbs in Sinupret works holistically to address the underlying causes of sinusitis.
Clinical Trials: A randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled study published in the European Archives of Oto-Rhino-Laryngology found that Sinupret was effective in improving symptoms of acute sinusitis compared to placebo. The study concluded that Sinupret can be a valuable treatment option for sinusitis.
