Description

Zerodol (aceclofenac) coated tablets 100 mg. №30

Composition 

active substance: aceclofenac;

1 tablet contains aceclofenac 100 mg;

Excipients: microcrystalline cellulose, croscarmellose sodium, sodium starch glycolate (type A), colloidal anhydrous silica, sodium lauryl sulfate, iron oxide red (E 172), hydrogenated castor oil, hypromellose, crosporic acid;

film coating: talc, titanium dioxide (E 171), dibutyl phthalate, hypromellose, iron oxide red (E 172).

Dosage form

Film-coated tablets.

Main physical and chemical properties: reddish-brown, round, biconvex, coated tablets with a score line on one side and “ZRD” embossing on the other.

Pharmacotherapeutic group

Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory and anti-rheumatic drugs. Acetic acid derivatives and related substances. ATX code M01A B16.

Pharmacological properties

Zerodol is an analgesic and anti-inflammatory drug. The drug also has an antipyretic effect. It suppresses the production of substances that cause pain, edema, secretion of inflammatory fluid in the site of inflammation. In rheumatic diseases helps to alleviate pain, eliminate swelling, stiffness of the joints, allowing to significantly improve their condition. Application after injuries, in the postoperative period helps to reduce inflammatory hypostasis, painful discomfort.

Indications

Zerodol is prescribed to reduce pain, the severity of inflammatory phenomena in diseases of the musculoskeletal system, including rheumatoid, juvenile, psoriatic arthritis, gouty arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, osteoarthritis, bursitis, tendovaginitis. Also to eliminate pain in cancer, migraine, sciatica (sciatic nerve damage), ossalgia (bone pain), lumbago (low back pain, shots), toothache, arthralgia (joint pain), neuralgia, radiculitis, myalgia (muscle) pain), biliary / renal colic, pain after surgery, trauma, algodysmenorrhea (painful menstruation), infectious and inflammatory processes of the ENT organs (otitis, pharyngitis, tonsillitis), fever.

Contraindications

Zerodol should not be used:

  •  in case of intolerance to the main, excipients, allergies to other NSAIDs (nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs);
  •  with exacerbation of diseases of the stomach or intestines (erosive-ulcerative nature);
  •  at bleeding;
  •  at disturbance of hematopoiesis, disturbance of blood coagulation (including hemophilia);
  •  with aspirin asthma;
  •  pregnant;
  •  to children.

It is used with caution in bronchial asthma, congestive heart failure, liver / kidney disorders, inflammatory bowel disease, after major surgery (including coronary artery bypass grafting), the elderly.

Method of application and dose

Zerodol tablets are administered orally.
The standard dose is 100 mg 1-2 times / day.
The tablet is taken after or during a meal.

Overdose

Overdose is manifested by dizziness, dizziness, vomiting, headache, respiratory distress, bleeding, liver / kidney dysfunction.
In case of overdose, it is necessary to stop using this drug and seek medical help.

Side effects:

  • Nervous system disorders: cephalgia (headaches), sleep disorders, anxiety, depression, convulsions, drowsiness, aseptic meningitis, nightmares.
  • Digestive system disorders: abdominal pain, dry mouth, bloating, diarrhea / constipation, nausea, peptic ulcer, jaundice, esophageal lesions, hepatitis, blood in the stool, liver necrosis, cirrhosis, colitis, pancreatitis.
  • Perception disorders: tinnitus, double vision, blurred vision, hearing loss, taste disturbance.
  • Disorders of the genitourinary system: edema, protein in the urine, oliguria (decreased urine output), blood in the urine, nephritis, renal failure.
  • Skin changes: rash, eczema, alopecia (hair loss), toxic dermatitis, hives, itching, small hemorrhages, photosensitivity (sun intolerance).
  • Hematopoietic disorders: eosinophilia, anemia, leukopenia, thrombocytopenic purpura, agranulocytosis, thrombocytopenia.
  • Cardiac disorders: increased blood pressure, heart failure (congestive heart failure), extrasystole, sternal pain, heart attack.
  • Allergy: swelling of the lips, tongue, vasculitis (inflammation of blood vessels).
  • Respiratory disorders: bronchospasm, cough, pneumonitis, laryngeal edema.
