Scientific Evidence
Studies have shown that bee venom has anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties, making it effective in reducing pain and inflammation in conditions like arthritis (1). The venom works by inhibiting inflammatory pathways and promoting the release of endorphins, the body’s natural painkillers.
Additional Information
For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes. Keep out of reach of children. Discontinue use if rash or irritation occurs.
Pharmacological Effects: Bee venom contains melittin, a peptide with anti-inflammatory properties that can help reduce pain and swelling in affected areas. When applied topically, bee venom can penetrate the skin and target specific pain receptors, providing localized relief.
Clinical Trials: Clinical trials have demonstrated the efficacy of bee venom in managing pain and inflammation in conditions like rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis. A study published in the Journal of Ethnopharmacology found that bee venom therapy significantly reduced pain and improved joint function in arthritis patients (2).
