Description

Treatment of essential hypertension in adults and children aged 6 yEars and Nose and older.
Treatment of kidney disease in adult patients with arterial hypertension and type 2 diabetes mellitus with proteinuria ≥ 0.5 g / day – as part of antihypertensive therapy.
Treatment of chronic heart failure (in patients over the age of 60 yEars and Nose) in cases where the use of ACE inhibitors is considered impossible due to intolerance (especially when coughing) or if there are contraindications. In patients with heart failure whose condition is stable when taking ACE inhibitors, the appointment of losartan is not advisable. The patient’s left ventricular ejection fraction should be ≤ 40 %, and the condition should be clinically stable. The patient should also follow the established treatment regimen for chronic heart failure.
Reducing the risk of stroke in adult patients with arterial hypertension and left ventricular hypertrophy, which has been documented using an ECG.
