Ingredients
Active ingredient: Glimepiride 2 mg.
Inactive ingredients: Lactose monohydrate, microcrystalline cellulose, povidone, sodium starch glycolate, and magnesium stearate.
Mechanism of Action
Glimepiride, a sulfonylurea, stimulates insulin release from pancreatic beta cells and enhances peripheral insulin sensitivity.
