FUCORCIN GENERAL CHARACTERISTICS
Composition:
active ingredients: 1 ml of solution contains basic fuchsin – 4.0 mg, boric acid – 8.0 mg, phenol – 39.0 mg, acetone – 0.049 ml, resorcinol – 78.0 mg
excipients: ethanol 96%, purified water.
Medical form. Cutaneous solution.
Basic physical and chemical properties: dark red liquid with a characteristic smell of phenol.
Pharmacological group. Antiseptic and disinfectants. ATX code D08A X.
Fucorcin Pharmacological properties.
Pharmacodynamics. The active ingredients that make up the drug provide a wide range of antimicrobial effects for skin and mucous membrane lesions by infectious pathogens. The drug also exhibits a fungicidal effect in case of fungal infections of the external integument.
Pharmacokinetics. Has not been studied.

Indications. For the treatment of skin diseases caused by pathogens sensitive to the drug: various types of dermatomycetes (trichophyton, microsporums, epidermophytosis), microbial eczema, oily and mixed forms of seborrhea.
Contraindications Hypersensitivity of the skin to the components of the drug. Chronic allergic dermatoses.
Interaction with other medicinal products and other types of interactions. Avoid the simultaneous use of topical antifungal antibiotics, such as griseofulvin, clotrimazole; drugs that include phenol, boric acid, as well as hormonal drugs. With simultaneous use with drugs for external use, allergic reactions may occur.
With the simultaneous use of any other medicines, you should inform your doctor.
Features of the application. Treatment with the drug should be carried out under the supervision of a physician and adhere to the recommended doses.
Do not apply the drug to large areas of the body and do not allow the drug to get into the eyes.
Patients with impaired renal function should be treated with caution.
Application during pregnancy or lactation. Not for use by women during pregnancy and lactation.
The ability to influence the reaction rate when driving vehicles or other mechanisms. No effect on the ability to drive vehicles and operate machinery has been identified.
Method of administration and dosage. Lubricate the affected areas of the skin and mucous membranes with a solution 1-3 times a day until clinical recovery. The course of treatment is determined by the doctor.
Children. Do not use in children under 12 years of age.
Overdose. With prolonged use of the drug and its use on large areas of the skin, phenomena characteristic of phenol poisoning (dizziness, weakness, respiratory distress, collapse) may occur. In the event of such phenomena, it is necessary to provide access to fresh air for the patient, rinse the drug with water from the skin and carry out symptomatic treatment.
In case of an overdose, it is possible to increase side effects, allergic reactions.
