Lindinet 20 composition
active substances: ethinyl estradiol, gestodene;
1 tablet contains ethinyl estradiol 0.02 mg and gestodene 0.075 mg;
Excipients: sodium calcium edetate, magnesium stearate, colloidal anhydrous silica, povidone, corn starch, lactose monohydrate, quinoline yellow (E 104), titanium dioxide (E 171), macrogol 6000, talc, calcium carbonate, sacha.

Dosage form
Coated tablets.

Pharmacological properties
A hormonal contraceptive based on progestogen and estrogen. Acts like natural hormones – prevents “repeated” fertilization.
Lindinet 20 prevents the release of the egg from the ovary in such a way that the sperm cannot fertilize it, it thinns the lining of the uterus.

Indications
Prevention of pregnancy in women of reproductive age. Reception takes place inside. The hormones estrogen and progestogen prevent the onset of ovulation, increase the viscosity of mucus in the cervix, which prevents the free passage of sperm through it. In this case, they lead to changes in the structure of the endometrium in such a way that the fertilized egg simply cannot adhere to the wall of the uterus.

Contraindications
Diseases of the cardiovascular system – there is a high risk of thrombosis, any degree of arterial hypertension (dysfunction of the vessels of the brain or vessels of the heart muscle. Angina pectoris, ischemic attacks, other threats of thrombosis, venous thromboembolism, thrombosis. Long-term recovery from surgeries or other surgical interventions. Neurological diseases, including migraine. Diseases and disorders of the pancreas (pancreatitis). Liver tumor, hyperlipidemia, jaundice, chronic liver disease, hepatitis, cholecystitis. Children
Lindinet 20 is indicated for use only after the onset of regular menstruation.

Application during pregnancy and lactation
Taking hormonal contraceptives during pregnancy and lactation is contraindicated!
If there is a suspicion of pregnancy, you should immediately stop taking the drug and contact your gynecologist. Replace the hormonal contraceptive with a local contraceptive. (condom, cap plus spermicide or vaginal suppositories).

Method of administration and dosage
Hormonal oral contraceptives are usually taken according to one scheme – one tablet by mouth at the same time of day. You should start taking it on the first day of your period.
In the case of an abortion before 3 months of pregnancy, pills are taken on the first day after surgery.
After an abortion in the second trimester or after childbirth, the drug is started to be drunk in 21-28 days.
If the drug is started later, then the first 7 days must be protected with additional local means.

Overdose
Taking a significant amount of the drug by mouth does not have a serious effect on the body, but if you take more than one tablet of the drug, see your doctor.
In case of an overdose, nausea, vomiting, and sometimes slight vaginal bleeding may occur.

Side effects
Every body reacts differently to the use of oral hormonal contraceptives. Adverse reactions can occur in any body system.
Some women may experience hearing loss or significant impairment.
Women with a weak cardiovascular system should be prepared for such adverse reactions as increased blood pressure, thromboembolism, deep vein thrombosis, myocardial infarction.

Storage conditions
The drug Lindinet 20 should not be available to children. The optimum storage temperature is 15 to 25 degrees Celsius in a dark and dry place.
