Ingredients
- Active ingredient: Saxagliptin 2.5 mg.
- Other ingredients: Lactose monohydrate, microcrystalline cellulose, croscarmellose sodium, and magnesium stearate.
Dosage
Recommended dosage: The usual dose is one 2.5 mg tablet once daily, with or without food.
Indications
Onglyza (Saxagliptin) tablets are indicated as an adjunct to diet and exercise to improve glycemic control in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus.
Contraindications
Do not use Onglyza if:
- You have a history of a serious hypersensitivity reaction to saxagliptin.
- You have type 1 diabetes mellitus or diabetic ketoacidosis.
Directions
