Pharmacological properties
Paranix is an insecticidal agent recommended in dermatology for the treatment of hair parasites.
The presented products are intended for the treatment and prevention of parasites on the basis of the mineral oil clearol and the anti-pediculosis drug – dimethicone. The Clearol component is created on the basis of mineral oil, which includes ylang-ylang, coconut, anise oil. The oil helps dissolve the lice epicuticles and the protective shell of nits. This causes the parasites to become dehydrated and die. The second component is dimethicone. Along with clearol, this substance blocks the access of air to the respiratory tract of lice, causing asphyxia and causing their death.
There are no chemical insecticides in the composition, so the drug does not cause resistance (addiction).
