Description

Pinovit composition and form of release
The active ingredients of this pharmaceutical are mountain pine oil, alpha-tocopherol acetate, mint oil, thymol, eucalyptus oil.
Release form – nasal drops.

Pharmacological properties
This pharmaceutical agent is used for diseases of the nasal cavity.
This pharmaceutical product has anti-edematous and anti-inflammatory effects; when applied, the severity of local exudative reactions decreases. Also, this tool has antibacterial properties against some bacteria and antifungal effect against molds and yeasts.

Indications
Pinovit is used for rhinopharyngitis, rhinitis (chronic / acute) of non-allergic origin, laryngotracheitis, infectious and inflammatory pathologies of the mucous membrane of the nasopharynx and nose.

Contraindications
You can not use nasal drops with hypersensitivity to them, with allergic rhinitis.
Pinovit is used with caution in patients with severe liver disease.
Pinovit should be used with caution in children because of the risk of developing bronchospasm.

Children
It is forbidden to use the pharmaceutical product for children under two years of age.

Application during pregnancy and lactation
This pharmaceutical product is allowed to be used in therapeutic doses for women during the indicated periods.

Method of administration and dosage
Immediately before use, it is recommended to hold the medicine bottle in the palm of your hand to warm it up to body temperature. Next, remove the lid and, by lightly pressing on the rubber dropper insert, drip the drug into each nostril. After using Pinovit, the bottle must always be tightly closed with a lid.
On the first day, adult patients should be instilled into each nasal passage two to three drops of Pinovit three to six times / day. Starting from the second day, Pinovit is recommended to instill two to three drops in each nasal passage three to four times a day.
For children over two years old, Pinovit is applied one to two drops three to four times a day.
The duration of the use of Pinovit nasal drops is determined by the attending doctor in each clinical case individually. In most cases, the duration of use of the drug Pinovit is five to seven days.
It is necessary not to allow Pinovit nasal drops to get into the eyes.

Overdose
When using drops locally according to the instructions, there is no risk of overdose.

Side effects
In some patients, the pharmaceutical preparation can provoke the occurrence of local irritation phenomena, which include hyperemia (redness), itching, slight burning sensation, swelling of the nasal mucosa. The listed side effects are transient.
Also, against the background of the use of the drug, it is possible to develop hypersensitivity reactions (including hyperemia, urticaria, skin rashes, angioedema).

Storage conditions and periods
Store Pinovit nasal drops in places protected from light at temperatures below + 25 ° C.
Drops must be protected in places inaccessible to the child.
The shelf life of this pharmaceutical product is two years. Do not use drops after the expiration date indicated on the package.
