Prostalad Composition and release form
It is produced in the form of a tincture for oral use. The tincture includes Hypеrici herba, Solidaginis canadensis herba, Bursae pastoris herba, Agrimoniae eupatoriae herba, Arnicae flos, Calendulae flos, Valerianae radix, Echinaceae radix purpuree.

Pharmacological properties
The drug is used in the treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia. It normalizes the level of prostate-specific antigen and estriol in the blood, inhibits lipid peroxidation in the prostate gland, which helps to reduce the size of the prostate gland, stabilizes diuresis, reduces the clinical manifestations of BPH and has a moderate analgesic effect. The therapeutic properties of the drug are due to the action of the components present in its composition.

Indications
Prostalad is used to prevent the development and as part of the complex treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia in the initial stage of the disease, manifested by difficulty urinating, which has arisen against the background of an infectious lesion of the urinary tract.

Contraindications
The applied tinctures are impossible if the patient suffers from intolerance to its components, chronic alcoholism, gastric ulcer, duodenal ulcer or liver cirrhosis. Taking the drug is incompatible with the use of medications containing alcohol, alcoholic beverages, neuroleptics and tranquilizers.
It is not prescribed for patients with arterial hypertension, increased blood clotting, diabetes mellitus, thromboembolism, tuberculosis, leukocytic blood diseases, rheumatism, connective tissue lesions, multiple sclerosis, cancer, systemic lupus erythematosus, immunodeficiency and immunosuppression, HIV and AIDS. The drug is contraindicated in patients suffering from depression or other diseases accompanied by depression of the central nervous system.

Side effects
Taking the tincture may be accompanied by a decrease in pressure, difficulty breathing, bronchospasm, dyspeptic disorders, stool disorder, increased drowsiness, dizziness, headaches, excessive sweating, polyuria, photosensitivity, chills, allergic reactions, urticaria and anaphylactic shock. In addition, in some patients, taking tincture can provoke the development of autoimmune diseases, such as erythema nodosum, disseminated encephalomyelitis, Evans syndrome and Sjogren-Larsen syndrome associated with impaired renal tubular function.

Storage conditions and periods
