Composition

active ingredient: 100 ml contains: tincture (1:10) from a mixture of medicinal plant materials “Ravisol”: mistletoe white shoots and leaves (visci albi cormi et folia) – 1.5 g; horsetail grass (equiseti arvensis herba) – 1 g; Japanese Sophora fruit (sophora japonica fructus) – 1.5 g; chestnut horse seed (hippocastani semina) – 1.5 g; hawthorn fruit (crataegi fructus) – 2 g; clover flowers (trifolii flores) – 1 g; small periwinkle grass (vincae minoris hegba) – 1.5 g; (extractant ethanol 40%); excipients: absent, except for the extractant.

Tincture.

Basic physical and chemical properties: transparent yellow-brown liquid with a pleasant odor. Precipitation is allowed during storage.

Pharmacological properties

Ravisol tincture is a tonic to restore memory and attention. The drug effectively relieves the frequency and severity of headaches and dizziness. Reduces the level of total blood lipids, cholesterol, triglycerides, β-lipoproteins, improves cerebral and coronary blood flow, is a mild diuretic, reduces the activity of the vascular-motor center and peripheral vascular resistance, has an anti-inflammatory effect.

Indications for use

Ravisol tincture is prescribed and used for patients with atherosclerosis, vegetative-vascular dystonia, to eliminate headaches and dizziness, to improve memory, focus, as well as to increase the ability to work and improve the general well-being of people in old age.

Contraindications

Contraindications for taking the drug are severe kidney disease, bradycardia, severe arterial hypotension, as well as nephritis, nephrosis, nephrosonephritis. Ravisol is contraindicated in patients with increased susceptibility to the constituent components of the drug.

Application during pregnancy and lactation

Ravisol is contraindicated for pregnant women and nursing mothers.

Method of administration and dosage

The drug is taken orally, at least half an hour before meals, with a small amount of water. Before using the drug, it is necessary to shake the contents of the bottle. Adult patients and children over 16 years old take 5 ml (one teaspoon) three times throughout the day. The duration of therapy is 10 weeks.

Overdose

A significant excess of the dosage of the drug Ravisol can cause disturbances in the functional activity of organs (liver, heart, kidneys), arterial hypotension, thrombosis, bradycardia, nephrotoxic reactions, drowsiness, and increased side effects. In case of an overdose, taking the drug should be stopped and symptomatic treatment should be carried out.

Side effects

Taking Ravisol can cause diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, decreased heart pressure, irritation of kidney tissue, which manifests itself as back pain and when urination ends. Allergic reactions are also possible (urticaria, skin redness, feeling of heat, rash, itching).
