Composition
active ingredients: metamizole sodium, fenpiverinium bromide, pitofenone hydrochloride;
1 tablet contains metamizole sodium 0.5 g (500 mg), pitofenone hydrochloride 0.005 g (5 mg), fenpiverinium bromide 0.0001 g (0.1 mg);
excipients: potato starch, calcium stearate.
Dosage form
Tablets.
Basic physico-chemical properties: tablets of white or white color with a yellowish tint with a flat surface, risk and chamfer.
Pharmacological group
Antispasmodics in combination with analgesics. Synthetic anticholinergics in combination with analgesics. Pitophenone and analgesics.

Pharmacological properties
Renalgan is a combined preparation with analgesic ispasmolytic action. Reduces tone and eliminates spasms of smooth muscles of internal organs. Metamizole sodium has an analgesic, antipyretic and weak anti-inflammatory effect. Pitofenone hydrochloride has a myotropic antispasmodic effect. Fenpiverinium bromide, due to the anticholinergic action, has an additional relaxing effect on smooth muscles. The combination of the three components of the drug leads to the mutual potentiation of their pharmacological effects.
Indications Renalgan
Renalgan tablets is used as an analgesic and antispasmodic for mild or moderate pain syndrome with spasms of muscles of internal organs, including renal colic, biliary and intestinal colic, spasms of the ureter and bladder, chronic colitis, dysmenorrhea. As an adjunct, it can be used to relieve pain after surgical and diagnostic interventions. The drug can be used as an analgesic for short-term symptomatic treatment for arthralgia, neuralgia, sciatica, myalgia (muscle strain).
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to pyrazolone derivatives, diseases of the blood system, tachycardia, decompensated heart failure, ischemic heart disease, decompensated liver and kidney function disorders, hepatoporphyria, angle-closure glaucoma, prostatic hypertrophy, glucose 6 phosphate dehydrogenase deficiency, gestation period, lactation period, age up to 5 years …
Special instructions
It should be used with caution during pregnancy, especially in the first trimester and the last 6 weeks. Long-term treatment should be carried out under the control of the cellular composition of the peripheral blood.
Method of administration and dosage
Adults and children over the age of 15 years orally 1 2 tablets 2 3 times a day. For children aged 5 to 15 years, the dose of the drug is set by the doctor individually. The drug should be used after meals with water. The daily dose should not exceed 6 tablets, the duration of use should not exceed 5 days.
Overdose
No cases of overdose with Renalgan were observed.
Side effects
Renalgan, as a rule, is well tolerated, but occasionally skin manifestations of allergic reactions, bronchospasm and other manifestations of allergic reactions are possible; with prolonged use, oppression of hematopoiesis (granulocytopenia, agranulocytosis).
