Topiromax 100 (topiramate) Coated Tablets 100 mg. №30
Ingredients
Active ingredient: Topiramate 100 mg.
Other ingredients: Microcrystalline cellulose, pregelatinized starch, sodium starch glycolate, colloidal silicon dioxide, magnesium stearate, hypromellose, polyethylene glycol, titanium dioxide, and iron oxide.
Dosage
Recommended dosage: The usual starting dose is 25 mg once daily in the evening. The dose is then increased by 25-50 mg every week based on the response. The maximum recommended dose is 400 mg per day.
Indications
Topiromax 100 (topiramate) tablets are indicated for the treatment of epilepsy in adults and children. It is also used for the prevention of migraine headaches in adults.
Contraindications
Do not use Topiromax 100 tablets if you are allergic to topiramate or any of the inactive ingredients. It is contraindicated in patients with metabolic acidosis, kidney stones, and certain types of glaucoma.
Directions
Take Topiromax 100 tablets exactly as prescribed by your healthcare provider. Swallow the tablets whole with a full glass of water. Do not crush or chew the tablets.
