Asinis (Armoracia) oral drops 20 ml.

Description

Ingredients:

100 ml of the drug contains: active substances: Armoracia D1 10 ml, Kalium bichromicum D6 10 ml, Hydrastis D6 10 ml, Calcium sulfuricum D12 10 ml, Cinnabaris D12 10 ml;

excipients: ethanol 43% (m/m);

1 ml of solution contains 25 drops.

Medicinal form. Oral drops.

Transparent, colorless to slightly yellowish liquid.

Pharmacotherapeutic group. Complex homeopathic remedy.

The drug has a systemic therapeutic effect due to the combination and mutual strengthening of active components. It has anti-inflammatory, anti-edematous, secretolytic and secretomotor effects, as well as immunomodulatory and reparative effects.

The drug quickly reduces the severity of local exudative manifestations, eliminates edema and hyperemia of the mucous membranes of the upper respiratory tract, without causing irritation, reactive hyperemia, or a feeling of dryness in the nasal cavity. Improves the quantitative (volume of production) and qualitative (physico-chemical) characteristics of the secretion, promotes thinning and more effective discharge of pathologically thick mucus. Restores the functioning of mucociliary clearance. Improves metabolic processes and ensures faster cleaning of the mucous membrane from mucous-purulent secretions and crusts, accelerates healing processes. Increases the resistance of the mucous membrane to the penetration of pathogenic bacteria and viruses. Reduces the risk of developing purulent complications of acute catarrhal rhinosinusitis.

Improves the results of antibacterial therapy and reduces the need for punctures in purulent sinusitis. Does not cause addiction or weakening of the therapeutic effect, even with long-term treatment.

Provides rapid elimination of the asthenic symptom complex of infectious-toxic and hypoxic genesis. Stimulates individual compensatory capabilities of the body, increases non-specific reactivity of the body to infections and prevents repeated exacerbations of sinusitis, rhinitis, laryngotracheitis.

Indications.

Acute and chronic rhinosinusitis (sinusitis, frontitis, ethmoiditis, sphenoiditis, combined sinusitis). Chronic rhinitis and laryngotracheitis. In the complex treatment of inflammatory diseases of the middle ear (including otitis media, eustachianitis) 

Contraindications. Hypersensitivity to any component of the drug.

Appropriate safety measures during use.

At the beginning of treatment, increased secretion in the form of serous-mucous secretions (primary response) is possible. This indicates the effect of the drug, effective drainage of the paranasal sinuses, nasal cavity and emptying of accumulated mucus. A possible short-term slight increase in the symptoms of the disease is a favorable sign and does not require cancellation or correction of the dose of the drug.

Due to the systemic action of Asinis (Armoracia), there is no risk of developing laryngospasm in children. The lack of improvement within 5-7 days of self-treatment indicates a possible incorrect use of the drug, in which case you should consult a doctor for additional consultation.

Since Asinis contains plant and other natural components, a slight change in the taste, transparency or color of the solution may be observed during storage, which does not lead to a decrease in the effectiveness of the drug.

Special warnings.

Use during pregnancy or breastfeeding.

Information on any risk from the use of Asinis (Armoracia) during pregnancy or breastfeeding has not yet been registered. The drug is used during pregnancy or breastfeeding only in cases where, in the doctor’s opinion, the expected benefit to the mother outweighs the potential risk to the fetus/child.

The ability to influence the speed of reaction when driving a motor vehicle or working with other mechanisms.

Despite the alcohol content, the drug in recommended doses does not affect the ability to drive vehicles and mechanical vehicles.

Children.

The drug is prescribed to children from 3 years of age.

There is no experience of use in children under 3 years of age.

Dosage and administration.

Adults and children over 12 years old: 10 drops of the drug in its pure form or diluted in 1 tablespoon of water;

children 5-12 years old: 5-7 drops of the drug diluted in 1 tablespoon of water;

children 3-4 years old: 3-4 drops of the drug diluted in 1 tablespoon of water.

Take 3 times a day.

At the beginning of treatment, as well as in cases that require rapid relief of symptoms, it is possible to take the drug every half hour to an hour up to 8 times a day until the condition improves, but not more than 3 days, after which it can be used 3 times a day.

To achieve the maximum effect, Asinis (Armoracia) is recommended to be used between meals (30 minutes before or 1 hour after meals).

To increase effectiveness, it is recommended to keep the drug in the mouth for some time before swallowing.

Course of treatment.

With acute rhinosinusitis, the main course of treatment is 1-2 weeks.

Treatment of chronic rhinitis, sinusitis or laryngotracheitis, depending on the course and duration of the disease – 1-2 months.

Prevention of exacerbations of chronic sinusitis or laryngotracheitis during periods of increased incidence of acute respiratory viral infection or influenza – 1-1.5 months.

If necessary, the course can be repeated (after consultation with a doctor).

Overdose . There were no cases of overdose.

Side effects.

Not detected. In exceptional cases, allergic reactions may occur in persons with hypersensitivity to any component of Asinis (Armoracia).

Interaction with medicinal products and other types of interactions.

Asinis (Armoracia) can be combined with any medicines and treatment methods.

When using Asinis (Armoracia) in complex therapy together with other drugs, it is recommended to observe a 20-minute break between taking drugs.

Storage conditions.

Store the medicinal product in a tightly closed bottle in the original cardboard packaging at a temperature not higher than 30 °C in a place inaccessible to children.
